Dr. Syed Amiry has established one of the most well-respected dermatology practice in Northern Virginia serving quality-conscious patients in metropolitan Washington DC area. His dermatology practice began in 2003, when he moved from Los Angeles where he was working with Murad medical group and offering cosmetic services to some of the most prominent people in the entertainment industry.
His success in the areas of general and cosmetic dermatology has brought him a high number of clients, and he has designed his cosmetic dermatology practice to ensure their complete satisfaction. To this end, Dr. Amiry has assembled a large, extremely devoted staff of top professionals, expert in their particular cosmetic dermatology procedures, whose dedication to quality care is without parallel. In this way he has achieved his goal: to offer unrivaled personal service to each of his dermatology clients.

Dr. Amiry is a leading dermatology expert in the field of general dermatology and over 6 years of experience in cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Amiry is Board Certified by the American Board of Dermatology. He completed his Dermatology residency at Geisinger Health System in Pennsylvania where he was honored as Chief Resident. Dr Amiry completed specialized training (only 13 programs in the country) in Cosmetic, Laser and Skin Cancer Surgery (Mohs) at Dermatology Associates of San Diego under the guidance of world-renowned dermatologists Dr. Fitzpatrick, Dr. Goldman, Dr. Tse and Dr Butterwick.
Dr. Amiry received his Medical Degree at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, MO. His Medical School training included traditional Medical School Teaching as well as a Holistic Osteopathic Philosophy of Integrating Mind and Body. Upon completion of fellowship, Dr. Amiry practiced dermatology in Los Angeles, CA at Murad Medical Group, counting among his clients renowned members of the entertainment industry. In addition to his practice, he currently serves on the adjunct clinical faculty at the Pikesville College School of Osteopathic Medicine and a trainer for Alma Lasers, training other physicians in the use of lasers and lecturing on the use of lasers.
